Kennedy Nzechukwu (Striker) vs Da Un Jung (Striker)
Super fun fight to start the night. Both of these guys can be wild and love to trade. Jung went with the wrestling route in his last fight, but I think this one stays standing. I give the edge to Kennedy in this one and I think he gets a finish.
Marc Diakiese (Striker) vs Rafael Alves (Striker/Grappler)
Another fun fight here. Both of these guys are flashy strikers and we should see a striking battle for the most part. I like Diakiese if they stay standing. I think it can be close if Alves tries to go to the ground, but I don’t think it goes there.
Cortney Casey (Striker/Grappler) vs Liana Jojua (Striker)
Both of these ladies need a win. Casey is going to try to get this one by taking this to the ground and wrestling, while Liana wants to stay standing and strike. Casey should be able to get this one to the ground quite easily.
Sean Woodson (Striker) vs Collin Anglin (Striker/Wrestler)
I actually like the dog in this one. I think Anglin gets close to Woodson and is able to get him down. Once he does that, he will be able to work some ground and pound. Give me the dog!
Cynthia Calvillo (Grappler) vs Andrea Lee (Striker/Grappler)
She needs to grapple and grapple quickly in this one. She didn’t look great vs Andrade and needs to turn the ship. I think she can win the grappling battles on the ground if she can stay away from being on the bottom. Lee is the bigger fighter so she may look to stay at range in this one.
Thiago Moisés (Grappler) vs Joel Alvarez (Striker/Grappler)
I don’t see this being a fun fight. I think both of these guys aren’t the most active fighters and I could see it going to the judges. I’m fully passing on this fight.
Miguel Baeza (Striker) vs Khaos Williams (Striker)
This fight fucks! I love it. I’ll take Baeza winning this one by not being the first one to fall :-). I just want all the violence here!
Yadong Song (Striker) vs Julio Arce (Striker)
This is a really tough fight to call. Both of these gentlemen are very good strikers and it could be a real technical battle. I would flip a coin here. I just can’t decide who I want.
Felicia Spencer (Grappler) vs Leah Letson (Striker)
This one should be a domination. I see Felicia getting on top very quickly and staying there for most of the fight. Felicia does this to most of the females she fights in the division.
Ben Rothwell (Striker) vs Marcos Rogerio de Lima (Striker)
I mean, this fight just really sucks. I didn’t even want to put it in my top 5, but one of these guys should go to sleep. Two bad heavyweights who both throw big wild strikes. Look for a finish by someone sometime in the fight.
Max Holloway (Striker) vs Yair Rodriguez (Striker)
I want to say something before I write this and it’s that I am a HUGE Max fan. He is probably my 2nd favorite all time fighter. With that being said, how in the world is he -700???? Yair is a solid opponent who can knock you out whenever. Go look up the elbow he had…. I still think Max wins this just like he wins most of his fights. A shit load of strikes and lots of DK points.
