The breakdowns that we try to focus on here will be looking at stylistic differences between fighters and how they will impact the card. Although the breakdowns won't usually be long, they'll have info on fighter strengths and weaknesses and how we expect them to be exploited. Towards the end of the article there will be the five best bets on the slate for you to tail!

Yohan Lainesse (Striker/Grappler) vs Darian Weeks (Striker/Wrestler)
Fun first one to start the night. Both of these gents are looking for their first UFC win, but they are both very aggressive. I think this fight goes one of two ways. Yohan gets an early finish or Darian ends it later in the fight.
Elise Reed (Striker) vs Melissa Martinez (Striker)
I think this is a fun kickboxing fight that will stay on the feet the whole time. I like for it to go to the judges at the end.
Chad Anheliger (Striker) vs Heili Alateng (Striker)
I think this fight is pretty close, but Chad has a HUGE wrestling advantage. He hasn’t really shot for many takedowns, but I think he uses it today.
Norma Dumont (Grappler) vs Danyelle Wolf (Striker)
Look at this! A 145 pound fight for the women. Too bad this will be a slower boring fight. Norma really could wrap this one up by taking her down, but Wolf is HUGE. It’ll be interesting to see if Norma blows this one.
Jake Collier (Striker) vs Chris Barnett (Striker)
The bigggg boys! This fight may really suck though LOL. Chris is facing a huge height mismatch. It’ll be interesting to see if he uses his kicks or if he tries to get close to land some strikes.
Jamie Pickett (Striker) vs Denis Tiuliulin (Striker)
Denis is an early KO or bust fighter and he is going up against Jamie, who will grind out a victory. I like for Pickett to get past that point and win this fight in a grind out victory.

Jailton Junior (Grappler) vs Anton Turkalj (Grappler)
Almedia is going to get him down and beat the shit out of him…. LOL. Not much else you need to know.
Hakeem Dawodu (Striker) vs Julian Erosa (Striker)
This fight fucks!! One of my favorite fighters that not a ton of people know about is Erosa. He is a bad MF and doesn’t give a shit if you hit hard or not. Dawodu will be a tough one for him, but Erosa is up for it.

Johnny Walker (Striker) vs Ion Cutelaba (Sambo)
I would love to see Walker get back on track here, but he has looked so timid in his past 5 fights and Ion is going to come and pressure him heavily in the first. I’ll give the KO to Ion early.

Irene Aldana (Striker/Grappler) vs Macy Chiasson (Wrestler)
The rest of the card was an absolute shit show, with weight cuts and fights changing. This fight is really close and I have no idea who will take it. #analysis
Jingliang Li (Striker/Grappler) vs Daniel Rodriguez (Striker)
I’ll tell you what, this week has made me like Li so much. Everything about him from his personality to his style. He just seems like a good dude. So now I am biased and picking him, but this fight is much tougher than Tony.

Khamzat Chimaev (Grappler) vs Kevin Holland (Striker)
This one is so fun with all the drama and everything going on behind the scenes, but it won’t be close. One day we will get someone who will beat Khamzat.
Nate Diaz (Striker/Grappler) vs Tony Ferguson (Well Rounded)
This fight is so awesome. It’s so crazy that these two have never fought. I love this fight though. I’d give the edge to Nate because he is the bigger dude, but man this fight is going to bloody and it’s going to be intense.
